At HARLI + HARPA, we prioritize selecting high-quality materials to create beautiful jewellery. We utilize a variety of materials in our collections. Below, you will find care instructions for your jewellery and additional information about the materials we use.

  • HOW SHOULD I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY?

To keep your jewellery in the best possible condition, it is recommended to store each item separately. This approach helps avoid friction between pieces, which can result in scratches or tangling.

It is important to handle gemstones with care to prevent them from knocking against other objects during storage. Additionally, to prevent chains from becoming tangled, it is advisable to fasten them securely. This will help maintain the integrity and appearance of your jewellery.

To maintain the appearance of products from our Real Gold or Silver plated, Sterling Silver, and gold vermeil collections, it is advisable to store them in a cool, dry place. This practice will help preserve their quality and ensure they continue to look their best over time.

Sterling silver does oxidize over time due to exposure to air. To minimize this oxidation, it is advisable to store your silver jewellery in a sealed bag or an airtight box when not in use. Regular wear can also help slow down the oxidation process. If you plan to store your jewellery for an extended period, cleaning the piece beforehand is recommended to maintain its shine and further prevent oxidation.

Jewellery is susceptible to chemicals, so we do recommend avoiding direct contact with perfume, hairspray, makeup, nail polish remover, body oils, suntan lotion, deodorant and household chemicals.

Unless otherwise specified our jewellery should not be worn in the water. Remove rings when washing your hand. Chlorine, salt water and fresh water can damage products by damaging or dulling them. Stones can also be dulled or damaged when worn in the water.

  • HOW SHOULD I CLEAN MY JEWELLERY?

Cleaning your jewellery is important to keeping it shining for longer. We recommend using a chemical free polishing cloth.
